Flavor Grenade Pluot

Flavor Grenade was bred by Zaiger Genetics, a California breeding operation responsible for dozens of interspecific stone fruit hybrids since the 1990s, blending plum and apricot genetics into fruit types like pluots and apriums that didn't previously exist in commercial cultivation. Flavor Grenade's elongated shape and intensifying sweetness as it ripens made it one of the more distinctive and commercially successful releases from that breeding program.
