Nikita Feijoa

Nikita is a genuinely distinctive feijoa among named commercial cultivars in that it does not trace to New Zealand breeding work like most others in this database — it originates instead from the Nikita Botanic Garden, a historic botanical research institution in Crimea, Ukraine, with its own long, separate tradition of subtropical plant breeding and cultivation research.
