Sugar Cane Jujube

Sugar Cane is documented as a genuinely semi-dwarf jujube variety, well suited to container growing, and consistently one of the earliest-ripening jujube cultivars available — in some locations and years, ripening weeks ahead of other "early" varieties. That said, growers in more northern, shorter-season climates should still expect fruit no earlier than early fall. The fruit is small but genuinely packed with flavor, often compared to a date.
