Sun-Glo Pawpaw

✓ Verified
Also known as: MI-TG
United States

Sun-Glo comes from the same Tollgate Gardens breeding source in Michigan, associated with Corwin Davis, that produced the closely related Tollgate variety also documented in this database — both share the "Tollgate Gardens/Michigan State" (MI-TG) origin designation used in trial records. The fruit is large, with vivid yellow skin and deep yellow pulp, and in Kentucky State University statewide trials it proved highly productive, with yields reported up to 75 fruits per tree. It is a late-season ripener, reaching peak maturity around the first week of October in Michigan or mid-September in Kentucky.
