Verdejo Fig
✓ VerifiedSpain (traditional)
I was not able to find documented origin history for Verdejo through available research beyond its Spanish name, related to the word for "green" and shared with an unrelated, better-documented Spanish white wine grape variety of the same name — not to be confused with that grape. If you have a source specific to this fig variety, it can be corrected with real information.
